Scanner preferences

Hi everyone, I just got the Kurzweil 1000 software. I don't currently have a scanner. I know that all scanners are different. If anyone has the K 1000 software, which scanners work best for you. Please excuse any typos. I'm at work and am typing this in a hurry. Thanks s
